About Chloe
I earned my B.Sc in Chemistry and later completed an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, gaining strong insight into both theoretical and applied aspects of the subject. With 11 years of teaching experience, I have supported students across school and pre-university levels in mastering chemistry concepts. My teaching style is structured, patient, and learner-focused. I adapt explanations to individual needs and emphasise understanding before speed. I encourage questions and ensure students feel safe expressing confusion. Outside teaching, I stay connected to chemistry through academic reading and analytical exploration. These habits enrich my lessons and keep them engaging. Teaching chemistry is fulfilling because I help students replace uncertainty with clarity and confidence.

My chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand why reactions happen, not just how to memorise formulas. I introduce fundamental topics such as atomic structure, bonding, periodic trends, stoichiometry, acids and bases, and thermodynamics using clear explanations and relatable examples. Lessons are structured to reduce confusion and gradually build confidence through consistent reinforcement. As learners advance, we work on numerical problem-solving, reaction mechanisms, and analytical reasoning. I guide students through balancing equations, interpreting data, and applying formulas with accuracy and understanding. Practice questions are selected carefully to strengthen reasoning skills and reduce common errors. Feedback is continuous and supportive. Chemistry learning also develops attention to detail, logical sequencing, and persistence. Many students gain confidence as they recognise patterns and connections across topics. My goal is to help learners feel capable and calm when approaching chemistry, knowing they can reason through problems rather than rely on memorisation alone.
