About Gulfisha
I'm a motivated pharmacy student, and I’ve always enjoyed teaching and sharing what I know with others. I first started tutoring when I was 16, and that experience made me realize how much I genuinely loved it. Since then, I’ve been drawn to tutoring even more. Whether it’s chemistry or math, I enjoy helping others understand tricky concepts and feel more confident in their learning. I also believe that tutoring should be affordable and accessible, which is why I try to keep my rates reasonable so more students can get the support they need.

I focus on building a strong understanding of key concepts by breaking down complex topics into simpler steps. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs. I also encourage questions and try to create a comfortable space where students feel confident to learn and make mistakes.
Lessons typically run for 45–60 minutes, depending on the topic and the student’s pace.
I previously tutored middle school students overseas in chemistry and Math and am now a Pharmacy student in New Zealand, confident in helping high school students, including those studying NCEA Level 1–3 chemistry and Math.
My goal is not just to help students improve their grades but also to help them gain confidence and enjoy learning.
