About Áine
I am a firm believer that understanding concepts is key to learning! If you understand rather than ‘learn by heart’ you can tackle any problem because you know exactly what it is you can do and where your knowledge is lacking: building from the ground up.
I love to help people understand concepts to get to a level where they feel confident that if they were to undertake an exam/ test etc. that they would be able to draw upon their understanding and not feel panicked if they cannot remember what they have ‘learned’. I feel this is so important for a subject like chemistry, which when approached in this way can be so accessible.
I am very patient and want to help people in a non-judgemental environment. It does not matter one bit to me what ability/level you are and no question is silly if knowing the answer will develop your understanding. I just want to help you get to the best of what you can do!

Perfect! Aine took the time at the outset to evaluate my daughters needs and put a plan in place for targeted areas of the curriculum. From the start my daughter has made progress and has been very positive about the whole experience. We both highly recommend Aine!
Perfect! Aine was an excellent chemistry tutor. She was very patient and always made sure I understood the material, no matter how long it took. She went above and beyond, checking in with me regularly and offering extra support. Perfect! Áine was very supportive and patient in our grinds together.
