About Ira
I hold a Master’s Degree in Materials Chemistry and have 8 years of teaching experience. My passion for chemistry grew from an interest in how materials are formed, modified, and applied in everyday life. Teaching has given me the opportunity to share that enthusiasm with many learners.
My teaching style combines patience, structure, and flexibility. I enjoy helping students overcome difficulties by simplifying concepts and providing step-by-step guidance. Every learner receives support based on their individual learning needs.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about scientific innovation and developments in advanced materials research. These interests help me keep lessons engaging and relevant. Supporting students as they develop confidence in chemistry is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

My chemistry lessons focus on helping students understand how chemical principles explain the properties and behaviour of matter. We study chemical bonding, reactions, periodic trends, thermochemistry, solutions, and laboratory concepts through organised instruction and practical examples. I emphasise understanding concepts clearly before applying them to complex problems.
Lessons are personalised according to each learner’s strengths, challenges, and academic objectives. Beginners develop confidence through foundational learning, while advanced students strengthen analytical reasoning and scientific problem-solving abilities. Regular practice and review activities help reinforce understanding and improve accuracy.
I believe chemistry becomes more accessible when students understand how topics connect together. My lessons encourage curiosity, logical thinking, and active participation. The goal is to help learners gain confidence while developing strong scientific foundations.
