About Josh
My journey in chemistry began with curiosity about how tiny molecular interactions shape the materials, medicines, and reactions that define everyday life. This passion led me to complete a B.Sc in Chemical Technology followed by an M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry, where I explored both theory and real-world applications. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students through chemistry challenges with patience, clarity, and structured encouragement.
My teaching style is supportive and concept-driven. I break down complex mechanisms into simple steps, use visual explanations, and ensure students recognise patterns rather than memorising disconnected facts. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and develop independence in scientific problem solving.
Outside tutoring, I stay connected to chemistry through continued reading, research updates, and exploring its applications in environmental science, industry, and healthcare. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I witness students transform from uncertainty into confident scientific thinkers. My mission is to help learners succeed academically while discovering their own potential.

Chemistry becomes far less intimidating when students understand that it is a logical story of how matter behaves and transforms. In my lessons, I guide learners through atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, acids and bases, thermodynamics, organic chemistry, and reaction mechanisms with clarity and patience. I focus on helping students connect invisible molecular processes to real substances they encounter daily. Each session is supportive, structured, and designed to build confidence step by step through explanation and practice.
Lessons are tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on periodic trends, basic reactions, formula writing, and simple calculations. Intermediate students strengthen balancing equations, energetics, equilibrium understanding, lab interpretation, and multi-step problem solving. Advanced learners explore deeper organic pathways, analytical techniques, and exam-level reasoning. Practice questions and feedback are included in every lesson to ensure steady improvement.
Chemistry lessons also develop analytical thinking, scientific curiosity, and resilience. Students learn to approach complex problems calmly and trust their reasoning. Many become excited when chemistry shifts from confusing symbols into a meaningful system. My goal is to help learners feel confident, capable, and empowered in chemistry.
