About Rehana
My journey into Chemistry began with an interest in understanding how substances behave and transform at a molecular level. This curiosity inspired me to pursue an M.Sc in Chemical Sciences, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical chemistry, organic reactions, and laboratory methodology. Over 7 years of teaching, I have had the privilege of helping students grow from feeling uncertain and overwhelmed to approaching chemical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm. Teaching this subject brings me great joy, especially when I see students begin to interpret chemical systems with deeper insight and confidence. I approach teaching with calmness, flexibility, and a genuine desire to help students succeed. I break down difficult theories into simple, intuitive explanations and use diagrams, analogies, and real-life examples to make ideas easier to grasp. I encourage open conversation, allowing students to ask questions freely and explore concepts at a comfortable pace. Many learners appreciate my supportive approach, which helps them feel less intimidated by complex material. Beyond teaching, I remain engaged in scientific reading, reaction analysis, and educational improvement. I enjoy studying advances in sustainable chemistry, organic methodology, and industrial applications—knowledge that enriches my lessons and gives students a broader perspective. For me, teaching Chemistry is deeply fulfilling because I witness students build both academic strength and personal confidence. Helping them develop curiosity, analytical skill, and resilience is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

Chemistry becomes far more understandable when students recognize how atoms, molecules, and reactions form the foundation of everything they encounter. In my lessons, I focus on helping learners see the subject as a logical system rather than a collection of disconnected facts. I guide them through topics such as bonding, energetics, equilibrium, organic structures, and reaction mechanisms with visual models, real-life examples, and calm, structured explanations. My aim is to help students build strong conceptual frameworks that allow them to approach even challenging topics with confidence and curiosity.
Each lesson adapts to the student’s level and needs. For some learners, mastering fundamental ideas like electron arrangement, formula interpretation, and stoichiometry becomes the priority. Others may be ready to explore deeper topics such as titration curves, reaction pathways, spectroscopy, and multi-step organic synthesis reasoning. My approach emphasizes repeated practice, guided breakdowns, and corrective feedback to help students steadily build understanding. I also support their exam preparation with targeted worksheets, strategy training, and real-time problem-solving demonstrations.
As students become more comfortable with Chemistry, they often experience growth in analytical thinking, observational skills, and disciplined reasoning. The subject trains them to interpret data, spot patterns, and solve problems using structured logic—skills that benefit many fields beyond science. My goal is to ensure learners not only perform well academically but also develop a deeper appreciation for the beauty and purpose of Chemistry. Through structured lessons, patient guidance, and encouragement, I aim to help students build both competence and confidence.
