About Ava
I graduated in May 2025 from the University of Michigan, majoring in Chemistry on the pre-med track. I did well in Organic Chemistry I and II and spent the last two years teaching both classes at the Science Learning Center at UMich. Interacting with students and witnessing their confidence grow as they tackle difficult concepts and problems has been one of the most cherished experiences of my life. I would love the opportunity to serve you or your child as they learn Organic Chemistry.

I believe that every student has the capacity to excel in Organic Chemistry with the right tricks, mnemonics, and practice problems. I have seen this success in hundreds of orgo students as a teacher.
My lesson plans are designed for undergraduate or advanced high-school students. I tailor my plans to each student's individual needs, spending more time reviewing and teaching content for some and focusing on problems and problem-solving strategies for others. I believe the key to success in Organic Chemistry I and II is spaced repetition and lots of practice, yet I'm flexible and can adjust my teaching style to your preference!
