About Dominique
I’m a friendly, easy-going person and I love helping students excel. I value creating a safe and comfortable studying experience to allow you to get the most out of each lesson and ultimately achieve your academic goals! I have had several years of tutoring experience, helping students with both their GCSE and A-level studies in particular. I have helped students gain clarity over confusing concepts and topics as well as improve their ability to apply knowledge to unseen questions. This has translated into their improved academic performance and confidence in a particular topic area. During my time at school, I personally struggled with some classes which impacted my confidence in my academic abilities. Having a tutor not only helped me improve my academic performance, but also helped me rebuild my confidence. I hope I can help anyone who feels the same, gain that confidence and excel in their studies!

I’m an enthusiastic tutor with a master's degree in chemistry with medicinal chemistry. My aim is to support you by building your confidence in your abilities and catering lessons to your individual academic needs. Each session will involve explaining key concepts to give you a strong foundation on which to build further knowledge and understanding. I will also provide plenty of practice to cement your knowledge and understanding as well as equip you with tools to apply your knowledge to unseen problems. Lessons are one hour long and suitable for secondary school students (KS3 & 4) including students studying towards GCSEs and A-Levels.

Dominique is a fantastic tutor, particularly in organic chemistry, but also in the subject as a whole. She is kind, patient, knowledgeable and approachable. She is great at making difficult topics and mechanisms easy to understand. I would highly recommend classes with her to anyone who is struggling with chemistry.
Dominique tutored me in organic chemistry during my undergraduate degree (I managed to get an A grade with her help). She was calm and was happy to explain things as many times as I needed. She was super warm and friendly and always made me feel like I had no stupid questions. I would definitely recommend her.
