About Oliver
My passions are learning, almost anything under the sun (and beyond), and teaching! I love to pass on knowledge.
In my final year, I had to learn most of my subjects through self-study (Geography, Chemistry, Math, Biology), and I loved it.
I am patient, and I like to go the extra mile. Very happy to work with neurodivergents (I am one myself).

I am very familiar with the Cambridge system (CIE), but familiar with CAPS and IEB too.
For teaching concepts I can employ a variety of teaching styles.
For exam prep I prefer a question-answer based approach, with focus on problem-areas in between.
Otherwise, I favor a student interactive method, as opposed to a lecturing style. If feasible, I like to go a little beyond the syllabus if it is interesting to the student as this will increase knowledge retention. However, the best method is always the one most effective for the individual, so I am adaptable.
