About Atharv
My journey in Chemistry began with a curiosity about how molecules interact and influence the world around us. This curiosity inspired me to pursue an M.Sc in Organic Chemistry, where I gained strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on laboratory experience. Over 7 years of teaching, I have worked with learners at various levels, helping them build conceptual clarity, analytical skills, and confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I aim to create lessons that are both rigorous and accessible, enabling students to understand and apply chemical concepts effectively in academic and real-world contexts. I place a strong emphasis on adaptability and student-centered learning. By observing how each learner approaches challenges, I tailor explanations to fit their reasoning style. I use diagrams, examples, experiments, and structured reasoning to make abstract concepts tangible and understandable. I encourage open dialogue, active questioning, and learning through mistakes, fostering a safe and supportive environment where students feel confident exploring chemistry independently. Beyond the classroom, I remain engaged with Chemistry through continuous learning, reading scientific literature, and exploring experimental techniques. This involvement allows me to bring contemporary practices and relevant examples into my lessons. Teaching Chemistry is deeply rewarding because I witness students transform from uncertainty to confident, independent thinkers capable of applying analytical reasoning to both academic and practical problems. Watching learners develop curiosity, competence, and confidence continues to inspire my passion for teaching.

Chemistry lessons become engaging when students understand the logical relationships underlying chemical phenomena. I focus on teaching atomic structures, bonding, reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and material properties in a structured, stepwise manner. Students learn to analyze reactions, predict outcomes, and apply concepts to real-world situations rather than relying on rote memorization. Lessons foster curiosity, reasoning, and analytical thinking, helping learners build confidence in both practical and theoretical chemistry.
Lesson content is adapted to the learner’s academic level. Beginners work on chemical symbols, basic reactions, and foundational understanding of matter. Intermediate students explore stoichiometry, reaction mechanisms, periodic trends, and experimental reasoning. Advanced learners refine analytical problem-solving, multi-step calculations, conceptual justification, and exam strategies. Each lesson combines explanation, practice, and reflective discussion to ensure comprehension and retention.
Chemistry lessons also develop transferable skills such as focus, patience, and logical reasoning. As learners gain clarity, they approach scientific challenges with confidence and independence. Many students begin recognizing chemistry’s relevance in everyday life, medicine, and industry. My goal is to make Chemistry logical, approachable, and intellectually stimulating while nurturing students’ curiosity and critical thinking abilities.
