About Hamid
I am a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. I have been honored and lucky to teach at the university for about 10 years. I worked on the multidisciplinary research areas, so I know all Chemical Engineering courses and math and physics at the high school level.

Welcome to my profile! I am a Ph.D. of Chemical and Biological Engineering, graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC). My research field is solid waste management and processing of biomass residues and municipal solid waste to convert to standard secondary renewable fuels.
Due to the fantastic grades in classes and the multidisciplinary projects that I have been involved in, I have been an expert in teaching the Chemical Engineering courses.

Perfect! We are so fortunate to have Hamid working with our three children. Hamid’s calm and methodical approach ensures that his students understand the underlying concepts vs just learning formulas and algorithms. In fact, our high-school honour roll daughter says she learnt more in one session with Hamid than she learnt in a month at school. Hamid has been equally effective in working with our 13 y/o twins. We highly recommend Hamid!

Hamid has been a trusted and valued math tutor to my three children for years. He is able explain fundamental and complex quantitative concepts with equal clarity. As evidence of Hamid’s effectiveness, our eldest daughter recently scored a perfect 800 on her math SATs, an accomplishment she gives much credit to Hamid’s help!
