I believe that learning English should be comfortable, practical, and enjoyable. As a TESOL-certified English teacher with experience teaching both ESL and IELTS students, I use a student-centered approach that focuses on communication, confidence, and real-life English.
My Teaching Method and Techniques
I use simple explanations, guided conversations, questions, examples, reading activities, and interactive exercises. I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s level, learning needs, and goals. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and provide gentle corrections and helpful feedback so they can improve without feeling afraid of making mistakes.
A Typical Lesson
We usually begin with a short warm-up conversation or review of the previous lesson. Then, we introduce the new topic or vocabulary and practice it through examples and guided activities. For speaking lessons, we may have conversations, role-plays, or question-and-answer activities. For IELTS students, we can focus on specific skills such as speaking, reading, writing, and vocabulary. We end the lesson with a quick review and feedback on areas to improve.
