About Madison
I am an English tutor and I have been giving lessons for a year now. I am TEFL certificated and also have certificates in teaching English online, as well as teaching English to young learners. I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.

I base my tutoring sessions on what the student wants to learn and their end goals. I believe students should be in charge of their learning and that I am here to help facilitate that learning. If a student wants to learn some slang words or more professional language, then I would incorporate these into my lessons to reach their end goals. I think the best approach is to vary sessions with different skill focusses so that the learner can work on their listening, reading, and writing skills of the English language.
