About Jam
Kia Ora! My name is Jam, and I am currently working as a Learning Assistant at Papatoetoe South School. My task is to help second language learners improve their oral literacy. I am one of the ESOL tutors of the school. I have been teaching English as a second language for almost 10 years now.
I have a certificate in Teaching and a Post-graduate diploma in Adult Teaching. I have experience in teaching online and in a classroom setting.
I will make sure that every lesson will be a fun and empowering learning experience.

I am a dedicated and experienced ESOL tutor with a passion for teaching and high respect for diverse learners. I believe in equal opportunity regardless of the background, and level of the learners.
When it comes to my teaching approach, I like to tailor my strategy based on my student's needs and learning styles. I am a believer in the socio-constructivist approach to teaching and nurturing multiple intelligence. To create a fun and safe learning environment, and applying a learner centre approach is my goal to provide an amazing learning experience.
