About Yomna
As a tutor, I focus on creating a personalized and student-centered learning experience. My teaching method is based on clear explanations and interactive lessons that engage the student through active participation. I use a combination of traditional teaching techniques, such as repetition and practice, along with modern tools, like interactive exercises and real-life examples, to ensure students grasp the material thoroughly.
A typical lesson plan:
Introduction (5-10 mins): Brief review of previous lessons and introduction to the day's topic.
Main Lesson (30-40 mins): Explanation of new concepts with examples and interactive activities.
Practice (10-15 mins): Student applies what they’ve learned through exercises or reading passages.
Feedback & Homework (5-10 mins): I provide constructive feedback and assign relevant homework to reinforce learning.
What sets me apart:
I hold an Ijazah in Quran and Tajweed, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Islamic and Arabic Studies from Al-Azhar University, which gives me a deep understanding of Arabic and Quranic sciences. My experience allows me to tailor lessons according to each student's learning pace and goals. I emphasize proper pronunciation and fluency in Arabic, with special attention to mastering Tajweed rules for Quranic recitation.
