About Yuri
Hello, my name is Yuri! I am Italian but I currently live in Salvador, Brazil. I consider myself a globetrotter and I have lived in ten different countries (Italy, Egypt, Syria, Senegal, UK, Jordan, Serbia, France, Spain and now Brazil). During my path I have developed a deep passion for languages and foreign cultures. I decided to teach languages with the aim to facilitate connections between people of different countries. I have taught Italian, French, English, Portuguese and Spanish in schools as well as to adults. I am also a bit of a history nerd, I love beach walking, I play tennis with some success and I am in love with my two siberian cats. I would be really glad to transmit my knowledge and my enthusiasm for languages to you!

I am specialized in communicative teaching and I am experienced in all age groups from Middle School to adults. I consider myself an outstanding teacher when it comes to the relationship with my students. I think the establishment of a friendly and trustful environment is a cornerstone for the learning process. I value each student as individual and I do my best to build the most appropriate path for everyone. My typical lesson plan for an hour lesson consists of 1) Warm-up and check of previous homework 2) Presentation of new language, 3) Guided application of new language 3) Independent application of new language 4) Activation of new language in total autonomy 5) Feedback and homework.
