About Emily
As a lifelong learner, I enjoy teaching as a way to give back to the community and encourage a love of learning in my students. I believe in creating a tutoring environment where students feel safe to be themselves. I offer numerous teaching modes to meet different learning styles.
I hold a M.S. in Strategic Communication with emphases in International and Intercultural Communication from the University of Denver, and a B.A. in Communication with emphases in Political Communication and Advertising and a minor in Political Science from the University of Tulsa.
My background is in communications and marketing, where I worked for B2C, B2B, nonprofit, and government entities. At present, I split my time between freelancing as a PR and branding consultant and tutoring/ substitute teaching in the Denver metro area for grades K-12.
Born and raised in Littleton, CO, I currently live in Denver.
