About Emilio Andrés
Hi! My name is Emilio and I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am a Spanish and Japanese teacher. I speak Spanish (native), Japanese, English, some German and Mandarin. I speak some Esperanto too. So, as you can see, I love languages. That's why I love teaching about my language and my country, Argentina, its culture and customs.

I became a Spanish teacher last year when I finished the teacher training course at International House Buenos Aires and received my ELE (Spanish as a foreign language) certificate on February. I have experience on language teaching as a Japanese teacher since 2016, so I know the methodology to teach a language and how to approach the students. My methodology consists of games, such as quizzes and word search, which are used along with text books and traditional exercises, all inside a communicative context or situation from real life. I try to avoid translations and make the student speak the language gradually. Also, I make my students think about the things that are learning and not giving the answer straight, but to give them hints. It's up to them to reach an answer to their questions.
