About Suhaib
Welcome! I am a passionate and certified Quran and Tajweed tutor dedicated to helping students of all ages build a confident, authentic relationship with the Book of Allah.
My journey with the Quran is grounded in traditional study and practical teaching. Having trained through advanced Tajweed programs and acquired solid grounding in the narration of Hafs 'an 'Asim, I have spent years actively guiding students in traditional Quranic circles and local centers in Jordan. This hands-on experience taught me how to identify each student's unique learning pace and adapt my teaching to suit beginners as comfortably as advanced reciters.
What truly gives my students confidence is a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I recognize that mastering Arabic phonetics and Tajweed rules—especially for non-native speakers—can feel challenging at first. With my fluency in English, I break down intricate pronunciation points, tongue placement, and phonetic rules into simple, intuitive concepts that anyone can grasp.

رحلتي مع القرآن مبنية على الدراسة المنهجية والخبرة الميدانية؛ حيث درست دورات التجويد المتقدمة وتلقيت أحكام التلاوة برواية حفص عن عاصم، وقضيت سنوات في تدريس الطلاب داخل الحلقات والمراكز القرآنية في الأردن. هذه التجربة العملية صقلت قدرتي على فهم احتياجات كل طالب ومراعاة الفروق الفردية وسرعة التعلّم.
ما يمنح طلابي الطمأنينة هو البيئة التعليمية الهادئة والمشجعة الخالية من التوتر. أدرك تماماً أن ضبط مخارج الحروف وأحكام التجويد—خاصة لغير الناطقين بالعربية—قد يبدو صعباً في البداية، وبفضل طلاقتي في اللغة الإنجليزية أستطيع تبسيط حركة اللسان والمخارج المعقدة بأسلوب منطقي وسهل الفهم.

My teaching methodology centers on patience, clarity, and personalized pacing. I believe that learning Quran recitation and Tajweed should be an encouraging journey rather than a stressful task. I use structured, interactive techniques—combining clear visual demonstrations of mouth and tongue positions (Makharij) with real-time audio correction. For foundational reading, I rely on the systematic Noorani Qaida method to ensure students grasp letter recognition, vowel sounds, and correct pronunciation step by step.
A typical 45 to 60-minute lesson follows a clear structure:
Warm-up & Review (5–10 mins): Quick revision of the previous verses or lesson to ensure retention.
New Material (25–30 mins): Introducing new rules or verses, breaking down difficult words, and demonstrating the correct Tajweed application.
Guided Practice (10–15 mins): The student recites independently while I provide immediate, constructive feedback and corrections.
Wrap-up (5 mins): Summarizing homework and setting clear goals for the next session.
What sets me apart is my ability to communicate concepts fluently and simply in English, making classical Arabic phonetics intuitive for non-native speakers. I bring authentic hands-on teaching experience from traditional Quranic circles, paired with a modern, supportive online approach that keeps both young learners and adults engaged.
These lessons are tailored for:
• Children and young learners starting Arabic or Quran from the absolute basics.
• Adult beginners who want to learn how to read the Quran with proper Tajweed.
• Intermediate and advanced students seeking to refine their articulation, memorize new Surahs, or master the rules of Hafs 'an 'Asim.
أسلوبي وطريقتي في التدريس:
يقوم منهجي على الصبر، والوضوح، ومراعاة سرعة كل طالب. أعتمد أسلوباً تفاعلياً يجمع بين إيضاح مخارج الحروف وصفاتها عملياً والتصحيح المباشر للتلاوة. ولتأسيس القراءة، أعتمد منهج القاعدة النورانية المتدرج لتمكين الطالب من الحروف والحركات والتهجئة خطوة بخطوة.
خطة الدرس النموذجية (45 - 60 دقيقة):
مراجعة سريعة (5–10 دقائق): تثبيت ما تم أخذه في الدرس السابق.
المادة الجديدة (25–30 دقيقة): شرح أحكام تجويدية جديدة أو قراءة آيات جديدة وتفكيك الكلمات الصعبة.
التطبيق العملي (10–15 دقيقة): تلاوة الطالب بمفرده مع تصحيح فوري وتوجيه هادئ.
الختام (5 دقائق): تحديد ورد الحفظ أو المراجعة والواجب للدرس القادم.

القدرة على تبسيط وشرح قواعد التجويد ومخارج الحروف بطلاقة باللغة الإنجليزية للناطقين بغيرها، والجمع بين روح التلقي العملي في الحلقات والأسلوب الرقمي التفاعلي والمرن.
