Cecilia is, hands down, one of the best tutors on this website. If you're looking for a tutor who will meet you at your level and work with you until you feel confident speaking, I highly recommend scheduling a lesson with her. Cecilia has provided me with what I've wanted my whole life: a nonjudgemental space for me to learn Spanish at my pace, about the topics I really want to know, and in a way that best suits me (a conversational, fun, and relatable style)! As a Latina that grew up hearing Spanish but never fully learning, she continues to provide me with the specific tools I need to overcome the greatest barriers to my learning (breaking down the cultural shame, speaking Spanish out loud, cultural specific words, learning what's truly formal or informal, etc.). I especially love how we will go back and forth about different ways to say things in Spanish versus English to make sure that the translation and connotation match what I'm trying to say. I cannot recommend Cecilia enough for anyone who wants to learn any of the many languages she offers :)
