About Gideon
My name is Gideon and I am a certified, passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher based in Accra, Ghana. I have been teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level since 2018, working with students of varying abilities and helping them build genuine understanding and confidence in the subject.
My journey into teaching was driven by a deep passion for mathematics and a strong belief that every student has the ability to succeed with the right guidance and support. Over the years I have worked with hundreds of students, helping them overcome their fear of mathematics and achieve excellent results in their examinations.
Beyond classroom teaching, I serve as a Professional Learning Community Coordinator at my school, a role that involves leading collaborative professional development among teachers, mentoring colleagues and driving effective curriculum implementation. This experience has sharpened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and work effectively with people at different levels of understanding.
I am also deeply passionate about educational technology and have developed structured video lessons for secondary school students, reflecting my commitment to making quality mathematics education accessible to everyone regardless of their location or circumstance.
I bring patience, encouragement and professionalism to every lesson. I understand that mathematics can feel overwhelming and intimidating for many students, so I create a relaxed, judgement free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes — because mistakes are how we learn.

I am a certified Mathematics teacher with over 7 years of classroom experience at the secondary school level. My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs and learning pace.

I believe mathematics is not about memorising formulas but about understanding concepts deeply. My approach involves:
