About Valeria
My name is Valeria. I am a certified Italian teacher for foreign students, researcher, creator of didactic materials, and Exam invigilator. I have been working for some private schools of Italian language and culture located in Northern Tuscany.
This experience has given me the opportunity to grow professionally, pursue my desire and obtain further specialization by completing the ITALS advanced degree at level II at the Cà Foscari University in Venice.
In addition to teaching Italian language and culture courses, I prepare students for CILS and PLIDA exams as well as invigilating CILS exams. Teaching is a mission as well as a passion, which is why the desire to adapt my approach and methodology from presence to online lessons.

My mission is to use an approach and methodology to create personalized, interactive, and live online lessons.
I offer a communicative approach enabling students at all levels to use the language effectively according to their individual needs.
The materials I use are authentic or self-produced because I love creating effective activities that are useful to the needs of students. The structure (grammar) is analyzed as requested by the student or when needed to be revised.
The lessons I propose, for lessons one to one, are a teacher-student collaboration, the student actively takes part in the lessons. With these lessons, we want to promote the freedom to express in another language with confidence by guiding students through their learning process.
