About Ivy
I am a professional guitar instructor with an Associate of Arts in Guitar Fundamentals and more than 4 years of hands-on experience. My expertise lies in preparing students for auditions, band rehearsals, and live stage performances. Real-world readiness is my priority.
My lessons emphasize timing, groove, and ensemble balance. Tight rhythm is essential. I train students to stay synchronized with drums and bass while maintaining clarity in their playing. Stage presence is treated as a learned skill. Students develop poise and expressive confidence.
My teaching approach is positive yet structured. I maintain high expectations. Creative teamwork is central to my philosophy. I encourage active listening and dynamic responsiveness in group settings. My goal is to shape disciplined, collaborative musicians ready for any stage.
