About Lora
I graduated from UNCG with honors with a degree in Education. I have taught middle and high school English Language Arts and History for twenty-two years. I have extensive experience tutoring students after school one on one, designing small tutoring groups and running after-school groups.

My teaching approach is to build a positive and supportive relationship with the student. Then I give a pre- assessment to determine areas of need and design lessons focused on those areas that match the interests and learning style of the student that I am tutoring. Post assessments give an opportunity to demonstrate growth and celebrate.
