About Svetlana
Hello! My name is Svetlana, and I'm a certified German and ESL teacher with an MA in Linguistics and over 5 years of teaching experience. I am passionate about helping people develop confidence in their German skills.
I have been on both sides of the learning process. As a lifelong learner myself, I understand the challenges you may face when learning a foreign language, and through teaching students of different ages and levels, I know how to help you overcome them.
If you are looking for a patient, professional, and supportive tutor to help you improve your German, I would be happy to work with you and support you on your learning journey!

My teaching style is supportive, patient, and student-centered. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident speaking German without fear of being judged.
My lessons combine conversational practice, grammar and vocabulary development, as well as pronunciation training to help students improve their German skills effectively.
I adapt each lesson to the student's needs, whether they want to improve everyday communication, prepare for travel, or develop professional language skills. Whatever your goal is, I'll be happy to help you achieve it!

I’ve been studying English with Svetlana for two years, and I can confidently say that her lessons have been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. My English level has improved significantly, and I’m no longer afraid of speaking English with strangers. I really appreciate how much she genuinely cares about my progress and encourages me to keep improving. Her lessons are engaging, supportive, and effective. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their English skills!
Svetlana is an amazing teacher! She motivates me to speak more and helps me correct my pronunciation. I am very happy with my progress! I feel more confident speaking English now and my vocabulary is better. Highly recommend her classes to other students!
I’ve had several lessons with Svetlana, she is caring, open, and gives detailed lesson plans. Furthermore, her knowledge of German is top notch and she has previously trained in Germany. I also enjoy her lessons because of her accent, she worked with a speech therapist during her Masters and speaks the language with a native tone.
I really enjoyed studying with Svetlana! The lessons were always interesting and easy to understand. I always felt comfort asking questions and she was very patient when I made mistakes.
