About Julie Ann
Hi, I’m Julie Ann! I have a Master’s in French, I’m a certified teacher, and I taught for over 15 years in the classroom. I’ve loved languages for as long as I can remember and have lived in France as an exchange student and in Japan teaching English. Because I’ve learned languages myself, I understand the challenges students face. My goal is to make learning structured but fun! When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, yoga, board games, cooking, spending time with my family and dog, movies and TV, and trivia (especially Survivor trivia!). My most fundamental belief about language learning is that the ultimate goal is communication: can you understand what's being said and make yourself understood?
