About Jennifer
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active. You can often find me at the beach, swimming, or playing baseball, which has been a favorite hobby since childhood. I also love watching Marvel movies with my kids and sharing our favorite heroes’ stories together. In addition, I enjoy keeping up with the latest scientific trends and discoveries, which allows me to bring fresh, real-world examples into my teaching.

I am an experienced K–12 educator with over 10 years of teaching and instructional leadership in science and STEM. I have worked with students from elementary through high school, helping them build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and succeed in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and general science. My approach is supportive and engaging—I tailor each session to the student’s needs, making complex concepts easier to understand through real-world connections and hands-on learning strategies.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have designed curriculum aligned to state and national standards, coached teachers, and facilitated small-group tutoring. Being bilingual in English and Spanish allows me to support diverse learners and families. My goal is always to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged, motivated, and prepared for success
