As a qualified and experienced English Language Trainer, I’m here to help you unlock your full potential in English. I hold a 120-hour TESOL/TEFL certification from TESOL Canada and have years of experience guiding students toward their language goals, whether for IELTS, workplace communication, or everyday fluency. With over two years of specialized instruction for adult learners and 15+ years in creative English writing, I bring both a solid teaching foundation and a creative, engaging approach to each lesson.
I understand that learning English as an adult or preparing for an important exam can be challenging, so my goal is to make every lesson purposeful and enjoyable. My approach is highly tailored, ensuring that you get the specific skills, feedback, and encouragement you need. My Approach as an English Teacher
Teaching Techniques and Methods
I focus on making language learning interactive, relevant, and enjoyable. My approach combines Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) with task-based learning, so students actively use English from day one. Through conversation practice, role-plays, real-life scenarios, and creative exercises, I help students build spoken English confidence. For IELTS preparation, I focus on targeted strategies for each section to help students develop effective, well-structured responses under timed conditions.
Class Structure
Each class centers on a specific theme or objective. We begin with a warm-up activity to ease into English, followed by targeted exercises covering vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. My lessons include a mix of speaking, listening, and reading activities to ensure balanced skill development. For IELTS-focused classes, we emphasize speaking drills, sample test exercises, and response feedback, while workplace communication sessions may focus on industry-specific vocabulary and practical scenarios. Every session concludes with a brief review and Q&A to reinforce learning.
