About Delphine
I live in Chamonix, at the foot of the mountains, in a very cosmopolitan valley, hence my interest in languages from an early age. I am passionate about music and travelling, I like meeting people and sharing. English is an essential tool for me, I practice it every day because I have the chance to teach English in a college where about 10% of the students are native English speakers. Because of my job, I am used to diversity and I know how to adapt so that everyone finds their own path to memorization and progression.

I adapt to the specific needs of my students, to their interests to motivate them to learn. My first challenge is to make people want to learn. I help my students reinforce the skills they need to work on or acquire so that they gain confidence. Each course includes oral/written comprehension and oral/written expression. At the end of the course, the student receives a summary of the course content with the points to work on for the next lesson.
I rely on various authentic documents to address a multitude of different subjects. I make my students aware of the rules of pronunciation, accentuation or intonation as a music teacher would do because for me, sensitizing the ear to the specificities of the language is essential to then dare to start. English is above all a passion that I want to share.
