I have worked in a reading intervention program that primarily worked off of UFLI methods but that also wasn’t afraid to try various tactics to help early learners master the skills of early literacy. I have worked with students that started in second grade unable to identify letters that were excited to read and tracking personal reading records on their own time by fourth grade.
