About Growth House
Education has been my passion for more than a decade. As a certified educator, reading specialist, instructional coach, interventionist, and former school leader, I have dedicated my career to helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
I specialize in supporting K–12 students in reading, writing, math, study skills, and academic intervention. Whether a student is struggling to close learning gaps, needs extra support to stay on track, or is ready to be challenged, I create personalized learning experiences designed around their individual needs and goals.
Families appreciate my patient, encouraging approach and my commitment to measurable progress. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, capable, and engaged in the learning process.
My goal is not just to improve grades or test scores but to help students develop the confidence, skills, and mindset needed for long-term success both inside and outside the classroom.

I believe every student can succeed when instruction is personalized, engaging, and built around their individual needs. As a certified educator with more than 10 years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, instructional coach, and school leader, I bring far more than homework help to each session.
My lessons begin with a quick review of previously learned skills, followed by explicit instruction, guided practice, and opportunities for students to apply what they have learned independently. I use research-based teaching methods grounded in the Science of Reading, intervention strategies, and data-driven instruction to help students make measurable progress.
I specialize in reading, writing, math support, study skills, test preparation, and academic intervention for students in kindergarten through high school. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD, learning differences, and students performing below grade level who need targeted support to close learning gaps.
What sets me apart is my combination of teaching expertise and leadership experience. I have spent my career helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for long-term success. My virtual lessons are interactive, structured, and designed to keep students engaged while providing the individualized attention they deserve.
