About Ty
Hello! My name is Ty, and I’m a passionate CELTA-certified English teacher with a love for helping adult and young learners achieve their language goals. I have a university degree in behavioral neuroscience which is helpful to understand that everyone has unique, individual needs and has to go at their own pace to achieve their language goals. I also am a virtual behavioral health and wellness coach for children and adults, so I am used to teaching in a virtual work environment. Having lived and traveled in various countries, including my dream locations, Bali and Thailand, I understand the value of language as a bridge to new opportunities and cultural experiences. With a background in Adventure Tourism and Photography and Behavioral Health & Wellness, I bring a dynamic and creative approach to teaching.
