About Alex
Hello! I'm Alex and I am a native English tutor from the south-west of England. I’m friendly, patient, and hard-working; with a good sense of humour!
I specialize in teaching children from the ages of five to sixteen years old.
The majority of my eight-year teaching experience comes from working on ESL platforms. My expertise is in intensive curriculums, such as Oxford, Cambridge, and National Geographic.
I’m also a great choice if your goal is to pass your KET, PET, and IELTS exams. So, far, I’ve helped over two hundred children pass their exams with a >90% success rate!
You’ll notice that I have a neutral accent (mainstream Received Pronunciation) and students comment that I am very easy to understand.
I have a passion for accents and dialects. I love talking to people from other countries and sharing my knowledge about England in order to prepare for travel or future work prospects.
My qualifications include a degree in English Language & Literature and a TEFL certification.
I really enjoy teaching kids and teens of all levels and abilities.
