About Morgan
Hi! I'm Morgan, and I have been a teacher for over 11 years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Reading Education. Additionally, I am a Certified Academic Language Practitioner, also known as a Certified Orton Gillingham Instructor. I tutor because I enjoy working directly with students and families to provide more support at home. As a teacher myself, I can help you better understand the educational processes.

I'll use my Orton Gillingham training to determine which literacy skills need to be strengthened in order to improve, then we will set goals. Each lesson plans looks different for every student, as everything is tailored to the individual's goal.

Morgan did an amazing job with my 2nd grader, who was struggling with her reading comprehension! She was easy to work with and had very detailed follow up on how she was progressing through tutoring. The sessions we did would vary from being in person or virtual, but regardless I felt Ms. Morgan took the time to learn about my child's issues and create an action plan to address them.
