About Angela
I graduated with a first-class degree in Midwifery from Kingston University London. During my degree, I taught several skills to new parents on a daily basis; this ignited the love I have for sharing my knowledge. Nevertheless, this was strengthened by my personal learning journey; as a non-native speaker, I achieved top marks in the IELTS and GCSE English Language exams as well as my Bachelor's degree, and I also qualified as a CELTA tutor. My aim is to support students to achieve their goals and even exceed them!
I have taught groups online, from beginners to advanced. I have also worked as a nursery assistant, teaching children aged 3 to 5.
I am friendly, approachable and very patient. I love creating meaningful relationships with my students and support them progressing towards their goals.

As a teacher, I like to cover all the key skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) during my lessons; however, I am fully flexible and I develop them in partnership with the learners, considering their preferences and interests.
To teach grammar, I employ guided discovery; this method promotes independence as the students work out the rules by analyzing written pieces of information and it makes learning memorable!
Students will be provided with the learning material used in class as well as further tasks to complete independently. These will then be marked by myself and returned to the learner to discuss progress and areas of improvement.
