About Viktoria
Welcome and thank you for being here. My name is Viktoria but everyone calls me Viki. I was born in Hungary but grew up in the UK so I understand that learning a new language can be a daunting task at times. My passion is to make this experience fun and enjoyable for my students. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 3 years to various age groups between 14 to 75. My background allowed me to work with groups in a professional school environment but also to provide private lessons to adults who wanted to improve their Business English or prepare for exams such as IELTS or GCSE. While completing my degree I provided academic English support to fellow students which I continued after graduation. I had the chance to teach beginner, pre-intermediate and advanced students from all around the world. Teaching online has allowed me to master my use of technology and to create a large variety of activities that can help with your progression. I am a language learner myself and I would love to learn about your culture and share mine embedded in the learning process. Feel free to book your first free lesson with me. I love getting to know my students and finding out their motivation for learning languages as it helps to personalise my approach and ensure that the lessons and materials best fit the goals of my learners. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach in teaching and the best results come from finding the pace and method that suits you most. In addition I am genuinely interested in bringing out the best of my students and showing them how capable they are to pass that exam, use the language with confidence and enhance their vocabulary. I find that with our busy lifestyle in the modern world, sometimes 30 or 20 minutes a day is still a better commitment than nothing at all. However, for the best results, my suggestion is normally 1 hour per lesson. Often traditional lessons are dull and students find it difficult to engage. I would like to make sure that lessons are unique to you while still covering pronunciation, grammar, speech, reading and vocabulary. You will be able to practise English in both formal and informal situations so that you can confidently use it in real-life situations.
