About Sreelakshmi
Hello, I'm Sreelakshmi!
I'm a CELTA-certified English teacher (University of Leicester) with a Master's degree in English Literature, and I've spent years helping students of all ages build real confidence in English — not just memorize rules.
My teaching is grounded in proper, internationally recognized training, but what I'm most proud of is the seven years I spent running writing workshops and reading groups, where I watched students grow from hesitant readers into confident, expressive writers. I'm also a published author and former sub-editor, so when I teach writing or literature, it comes from genuine, lived experience with the language, not just theory.
I believe every student learns differently, and no two of my lessons look exactly the same because of it. Whether you're a school-age learner building foundations, a teenager preparing for exams, or an adult working on fluency or a love of literature, I'll meet you where you are and build from there, patiently and properly.

I use CELTA's communicative, learner-centered method with a PPP (Presentation-Practice-Production) structure: warm-up, guided practice, then independent production, with concept-checking throughout to catch confusion early. As a published author, I bring real command of English form to lessons. I teach children, teenagers, and adults, adapting my approach to each learner's level and goals.
