About Dr Saoirse
I have been teaching in universities across the world for 7 years, in subjects as varied as evolution, animal behavior, genetics, and bioinformatics. These experiences introduced me to lots of different students from different backgrounds, and I am grateful to have been exposed to a variety of learning approaches. As such, I can tailor lessons to each individual student.

I have 7 years experience in teaching at the university level, designing and developing courses for undergraduates and postgraduates. I have previously given Leaving Cert grinds in Biology, which yielded good results. In my experience, once a student understands how a core concept functions, further understanding can be attained intuitively. This is my preferred technique - to assist the student in seeing how different systems operate, such that further systems easily make even more sense.
I am flexible in my approach, and would be happy to spend 30 to 90 minutes per session with a student, depending on personal preferences. Secondary school students of any level should feel free to get in touch, as should undergraduates in biotechnology, genetics, or a related discipline.
