About Diane Elizabeth
I have delivered personal science tuition to students from 14-54 years of age over a period of 15 years. I have extensive experience of teaching both small groups and 1:1, including ESL students. Throughout my university career I taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level and had pastoral responsibility for students in the department. Since having my own children I have actively engaged in outreach activities to both junior and secondary schools. Prior to becoming a personal tutor I spent time working with KS2, KS3 and GCSE students. I have a real passion for science particularly biology and enjoy passing on my knowledge and experience. I value the opportunity tutoring gives me to help students achieve their life goals

I believe that in order for my students to achieve their best my role as a tutor is to build confidence, stimulate interest and consolidate knowledge. I recognize the difference in learning styles between individuals and employ a range of teaching approaches to address these, always tailored to the individual student.
