About Tina
I am a friendly and professional coach focusing on joining up personal and career development for my students. I am currently studying for a Master's degree at LSE, tutoring to supplement my income. Previously, I worked for a decade in roles across government and in several management consultancies. I have managed several teams and developed team members from their entry level roles through promotions to senior members of staff. I have several qualifications in career development, including mental health and safeguarding training.
Alongside my professional interest in career coaching, I have also volunteered with my professional services' firm to provide one-on-one coaching to final year university students aspiring to a career in consulting. I am really passionate about providing career guidance that focuses on individuals as a whole, not only job seekers.

My lessons employ a 'mentor as coach' methodology, aligning with my professional certifications in career development and my long-time experience as a team manager in civil service and Big 4 management consulting. I focus on encouraging students to discover their own strengths and gain confidence in tackling areas that may need further development. I prioritise practical advice and development of skills that apply across a broad range of industries. I am highly qualified in children's safeguarding and mental health, which informs my approaches to career coaching through ensuring that my students consider their personal wellbeing in their job search and career considerations.
My lessons vary in length, usually lasting between 1-2 hours, and focusing on career options guidance, CV writing/editing, personal statements, or interview practice. I primarily work with school leavers and/or university students desiring to work in professional services firms.
