Quite simply , fun and enthusiasm, a student will always be engaged if enjoying what they're doing! Practise exam questions is also always the way forward, having not long come out of exams myself I know the mark schemes well and what examiners are looking for in an essay and I plan to make teaching how to write a good essay part of my teaching, also being relatable and putting history in the context of today and allowing students to engage In the content at a deeper level
