About Meritee
I am an enthusiastic Singing tutor with 12 years of teaching experience dedicated to helping students excel in music. I teach School students, College students, and Working Professionals who are eager to improve their vocal abilities, performance skills, and confidence.
My teaching approach is based on personalized instruction, encouragement, and continuous growth. I take time to understand each student's needs and goals before designing lessons that support their development. This helps students make meaningful progress while enjoying the learning process.
My classes include vocal warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch training, rhythm practice, tone development, voice projection, diction, and stage performance. Through practical exercises, performance activities, and constructive feedback, students gain the skills needed to become confident singers.
In addition to Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Coaching, Performance Skills, and Music Appreciation. These related subjects provide students with a broader understanding of music and strengthen their overall musicianship. I also focus on vocal care and effective practice habits.
My mission is to help students reach their highest potential and develop a lasting appreciation for music. Through dedication, patience, and expert support, I guide learners toward achieving their goals and enjoying every stage of their musical journey.

My Singing teaching methodology combines flexibility, creativity, understanding, and strong time management to provide students with a meaningful and enjoyable learning experience. I believe that discovering one's voice should be an exciting journey filled with creativity and personal growth.
I start by assessing each student's current level, goals, and musical preferences. This helps me design personalized lessons that support individual development and maintain motivation throughout the learning process.
Creativity plays a key role in my teaching. I use song exploration, vocal exercises, listening practice, and performance activities to help students strengthen their skills while enjoying music.
My lessons focus on breathing support, pitch control, rhythm accuracy, articulation, tone quality, emotional expression, and performance confidence. Students receive practical guidance that can be applied directly to songs and performances.
Understanding and encouragement allow me to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and learning from mistakes.
Time management ensures that lessons remain focused and productive. Every session includes structured warm-ups, technical exercises, song work, and performance preparation.
Alongside Singing, I can teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Wellness, Sight Singing, and Music Appreciation. My objective is to help students become creative and confident musicians.
