About Sophie
I’m Sophie, a Hong Kong immigrant living in Britain! I have a passion for all things literature - which was why I achieved a grade 8 in English Literature. In my spare time, I write short stories based off existing works of literature; they’re hosted on Archive Of Our Own.
I’m fluent in both Cantonese and English, and I can teach in both languages! If you’re a HongKonger or just more comfortable in Cantonese, I can effectively explain complicated concepts in Cantonese.
I recently did my GCSE exams, achieving grade 8 in English, and I tutored many of my classmates in my spare time. They all improved drastically: someone went up 2 grades, thanks to my assistance (and his hard work).

I generally offer hour-long lessons, where we will learn content, then apply it to practice problems. We can go through your tests to identify mistakes and add improvements to focus on your personal weaknesses. We can also go through past papers and identify how to answer them effectively.
