Hi everyone! I am offering one-on-one tutoring sessions for high school, college, and university students struggling with essay writing. I wrote many essays in university, most of which received a mark of 85%+ (A). Currently, I am a student at one of Canada’s top law schools.
For virtually every career path, you need to know how to write—or at the very least, communicate your ideas effectively. Believe me, I used to hate writing essays until I finally figured out how to streamline my writing and research processes. If writing is a chore for you, allow me to share with you my tips and tricks!
When you book a lesson with me, please prepare one or two graded essays from the last 6 months. During our first session, we will read through the essay(s) together and collaboratively compile a table of strengths and areas for improvement. We will choose a specific skill to focus on (ie. paragraph structuring, grammar, thesis development, vocabulary development, etc.) for the subsequent class(es). Only the first lesson will be offered at the discounted rate of $20 for 45 minutes or $30 for 60 minutes. All subsequent lessons will be $30 for 45 minutes or $40 for 60 minutes.
If you are in university and interested in applying to a Masters or JD program, I also do thorough personal statement reviews for $25 (two-day delivery). Some undergraduate programs require personal statements, too; if your program requires one, please contact me and I’ll see what I can do.
Finally, if English is your second language, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I also tutor English language learners.
