About Roy
Pacing is the most important element of any design review. I admit that I spent years learning how to provide feedback that improves the work without stripping away the designer voice.
Beginners often struggle with the transition from flat drawing to 3D rendering. I use my 13 years of experience to help you prioritise which elements of your presentation boards need the most focus. We keep the feedback loop tight so your progress on floor planning and theory remains visible.
I promise to keep our focus on the clarity of your design intentions. We will work to ensure your portfolio reflects a rigorous and considered process.

Architecture was initially just a way to arrange shapes until I discovered the intersection of design theory and computation. I admit that I struggled with my first few floor plans before mastering the balance of spatial flow. Holding a Master of Architecture from the Bartlett and an MSc in Computer Science, I now focus on refining the work of foundation students and hobbyists.
I have assisted many portfolio applicants in translating raw ideas into polished rendering and architectural drawing. Model making remains the tactile core of my practice even in a digital world. It is rewarding to watch a student develop a clear vision for sustainable design.
Guiding A-level design students is particularly enjoyable because their curiosity is still completely uninhibited. I enjoy helping people find the narrative within their own creative projects.
