About Matthew
Working with adults who are returning to singing or balancing professional lives is my specialty. You might find that your voice feels different than it did years ago, which is perfectly normal.
With a BFA in Contemporary Music Performance, I focus on the mechanics of head and chest voice. My 8 years of gigging with just a mic and guitar taught me how to handle the spotlight. I bring those lessons into the room so you can build genuine performance confidence. It is genuinely fun to hear how your tone improves when you finally find your resonance.

Building a voice that functions as a reliable instrument requires a deep understanding of breathing control and consistent warm up exercises. I use my BFA degree to ensure that every minute we spend together connects your physical technique to the songs you actually want to perform. Having worked with 185 students, I know that progress happens fastest when the material stays relevant to your goals as a hobbyist or professional.
