About Stephanie
Pitch control, rhythm, and phrasing are the foundational pillars of every vocal session I lead. I hold a Diploma in Music Performance and view singing as a technical craft that requires daily maintenance.
My journey involves splitting time between DC performance venues and working with hobbyists, adults, kids, and teens. Having taught 446 students over 13 years, I have seen every vocal hurdle imaginable. I integrate belting technique and breath control into my sessions to keep your voice healthy. Sight singing and harmony work provide the structure we need to grow.
Microphone technique is essential for those preparing for live gigs or recordings. I find that staying practical keeps the process grounded and productive.
