  As an experienced programming instructor and successful software engineer, I've been interested in IT for over two decades now. My first steps into the world of computers were during the late 90s when Windows 95 was a dominant operating system. I vividly remember tinkering with simple applications and games, gradually building my curiosity and passion for technology.

  The technological development that significantly influenced me was the advent of the internet and the World Wide Web. Witnessing how it transformed communication, access to information, and the way people interacted with computers and each other was truly groundbreaking. As for the future, I believe artificial intelligence and machine learning will continue to be groundbreaking, revolutionising various industries and aspects of human life.

  My specialisation in IT lies in software development, particularly in web and mobile application development. In the computer science universe, IT plays a crucial role as it enables businesses, organisations, and individuals to leverage technology for productivity, innovation, and problem-solving. IT bridges the gap between computer science theory and practical applications, empowering the world with software solutions that make our lives more efficient and convenient.

  Visionaries like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg have been influential in shaping the tech industry and inspiring countless individuals to pursue their dreams in IT. While they are inspiring figures, I also understand that success comes from hard work, dedication, and continuous learning. It's essential to learn from their successes and failures and apply those lessons to our own journey.

• Gibt es eine Anekdote aus Deinem Berufsleben oder Deiner Schulzeit, von der Du uns erzählen möchtest?

  One anecdote from my professional life is when I worked on a challenging software project with a tight deadline. The team faced numerous technical hurdles, but through collaboration, innovation, and perseverance, we managed to deliver the project successfully and even exceeded client expectations. It taught me the value of teamwork and the importance of staying determined in the face of adversity.

  To someone who feels insecure about using a computer, I would say, "Don't worry, you're not alone. Technology can seem overwhelming at first, but remember that everyone starts somewhere. Take it one step at a time, practice regularly, and don't be afraid to ask for help. You'll gradually gain confidence, and with patience, you'll become more comfortable with computers."

  Outside of IT, I enjoy staying physically active through various sports and activities like hiking, biking, or playing team sports. I also have a passion for reading and learning about history and philosophy. Balancing my technical pursuits with diverse interests helps me stay creative and well-rounded.
