About Taiwo
Hello, future students. My name is Adewale Taiwo, and I am passionate about learning and teaching. I see education not just as a way to pass exams, but as a powerful tool for understanding the world, building confidence, and creating opportunities for a better future. My personal approach to private tutoring is student-centred, flexible, and goal-oriented. I believe that every learner is unique, with different strengths, learning speeds, and challenges; therefore, effective tutoring must be tailored to the individual.

This includes understanding the student’s academic level, learning style, areas of difficulty, and specific goals (such as exam preparation, concept mastery, or skill improvement). This assessment helps me design lessons that are relevant and focused.
Second, I adopt a personalized teaching method. I simplify complex concepts using clear explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance. Where necessary, I use visual aids, practice questions, and discussions to ensure the student fully understands each topic before moving on.
Third, I emphasize active participation and confidence building. I encourage students to ask questions, attempt problems independently, and express their thoughts freely. This approach helps reduce fear of failure and builds self-confidence and critical thinking skills.
In addition, I ensure continuous evaluation and feedback. Regular exercises, quizzes, and reviews help track progress and identify areas that need further attention. Constructive feedback motivates learners and reinforces improvement.
Finally, I maintain a supportive and respectful learning environment. Patience, encouragement, and consistency are central to my tutoring style, as they help students stay motivated and develop a positive attitude toward learning.
