About Hannah
Hi there! I'm Hannah, in Year 11 in Melbourne's South East. I'm taking 6 Unit 1 & 2 subjects: English, Psychology, Biology, Health & Human Development, Theatre Studies, and Contemporary Music Performance. I am a big believer that learning should be personal and engaging, linking ideas and exploring the art of English. Out-of-school life is crucial to success. I enforce this in my own studies; when I'm not at school, I'm on stage, in every musical I can be in, at rehearsal, writing poetry, or doing some kind of craft.
I prioritize a comfortable, creative, and relaxed environment, in hopes of reducing stress. I am all too aware of the stresses of High school, and I would love to provide you with peace of mind throughout your studies where I can. I am not one of those people who are naturally smart; I have not always been good at English, but through my own methods and my passion for writing, I've landed an average score of 80-90 most of the time.
I am new to tutoring, so I am willing to work with someone who is also nervous about the prospect of tutoring.
I care about being kind and genuine, and I would treat you with respect and do everything I can to help you throughout sessions. Patience is a priority in my teaching, and I would hope that you would treat me with some of the same values.
I hope that maybe through my sessions, I could instill some of my love for writing in you!

Happy to help with English, anywhere from Primary school to Year 11 level. My specialties lie in Creative writing, Poetry, Literacy, Grammar, and spelling. Lessons may be as short as 20 minutes or up to 1.5 hours. It's whatever makes you feel the most comfortable; your ease of mind is my priority. I am new to tutoring, so lessons with me would probably be a learning experience for both of us! I hope to make a comfortable environment that is as nerve-free as possible. I promise I'm probably almost as nervous as you!
